Tucson Botanical Gardens (TBG) is a lush Midtown oasis under the canopy of 100-year-old shade trees. With more than 20 curated garden spaces set in 5.5 acres, there is always something in bloom at the Gardens. Be sure to look down to admire the eclectic display of rocks collected by Rockhound, Harrison Yocum. They are placed perfectly to enhance the varied plantings. Enjoy beautiful and curious plants from deserts across the world in the Cactus and Succulent Garden. Soak in the culture and traditions of Tucson's oldest neighborhoods at the Nuestro Jardín, or Barrio Garden. Watch the trains chug by an Arizona Sky Island inspired landscape on elevated track at The Great Garden Express model railway. Explore the Children's Discovery Garden, and art in the Gardens and indoor galleries all year round. From October - May, experience a little Butterfly Magic in the COX Butterfly and Orchid Pavilion. A seasonal garden-inspired menu is available daily for breakfast and lunch at the café.
