The Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery is proud to present 'Minerals of Arizona' - the theme for our forthcoming Open Weekend in November.
Taking place from Friday, November 18 until Sunday, November 20 (10am-6pm), we have a great programme of events lined up as well as a special exhibit by guest dealer Evan Jones.
The programme for the weekend is as follows:
Friday
- Presentation by Evan Jones - ‘Collecting Arizona Wulfenite’ (afternoon)
Saturday
- Talk by Doug and Richard Graeme - ‘Bisbee’ (afternoon)
- Book Signings - ‘The Mineralogy of Bisbee, Arizona’ & ‘Mineralogy of Arizona - New Edition’ (afternoon)
- Brother John’s BBQ with beers and wines of Arizona (evening)
Sunday
- Presentation by Susan Embrey - ‘Four Peaks Amethyst’ (morning)
Several of our in-house dealers will also be open throughout the weekend including the likes of Crystal Classics, Collector's Edge, Graeber & Himes and Rudolph Minerals.
In addition to all of this, we are also offering some special pre-event field trips on Thursday, November 17. The trips include a Four Peaks Helicopter Field Trip (availability limited to first 10 people - $500pp) and a Bisbee Copper Queen Mine Tour (emphasis on collectable minerals - 2pm - $14pp).
