  • Open Weekend BBQ catered by Brother John’s, SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 6.30pm-9pm (local time)?

Set in the Gallery’s magnificent courtyard will be a BBQ dinner catered by Brother John's on the Saturday night of the Open Weekend. There will also be a cash bar highlighting the theme of Arizona with local craft beers and wines. Reservations are required (maximum of 75 people).   • Bisbee Copper Queen Mine Tour, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2pm?

Visit the famous Bisbee Copper Queen Mine in Arizona with this special pre-event field tour (Maximum of 40 people). The tour will be just for the Gallery’s group with a focus on the collectable minerals found during almost 100 years of mining. Participants need to meet in Bisbee (478 Dart Road, Bisbee, AZ 85603) by 1.30pm for the 2pm tour. Anyone taking this tour will also receive a weekend pass to the University of Arizona Alfie Norville Gem and Mineral Museum. Cost is $14 per person. Please email Debbie at to book your place

  • Four Peaks Helicopter Field Trip, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17?

Take a specially arranged Helicopter field trip to the Four Peaks Amethyst Mine in Arizona (Maximum of 10 people). Participants will meet at Falcon Field in Mesa Arizona and fly by Helicopter to the mine, elevation 6,200 feet. There is a short hike up to the mine entrance where you will be allowed to enter and collect for one hour. A 50% deposit is due upon booking with balance due on the day of the trip. This trip is weather dependent with a full refund if the trip has to be cancelled. Cost is $500 per person. Please email Debbie at to register your interest for this event.

The Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery Open Weekend takes place from Friday, November 18 until Sunday, November 20 (10am-6pm, Free entry), at 465 W St Marys Rd, Tucson, Arizona 85701, and features daily talks in the Conference Room along with many in-house dealers being open throughout the weekend including Crystal Classics.
