From the mountains to the prairies to the oceans white with foam ... The GL&W Shows will be in five locations this fall, stretching from the banks of the Minnesota River, the green park-filled city of Livonia in Michigan, the “crossroads of New England” near the banks of the Connecticut River in West Springfield, Massachusetts, the shores of Lake Tohopekaliga, south of Orlando, Florida, to the Blue Ridge Mountains country of North Carolina. Hopefully, one of these show locations will be near you.
All GL&W shows have free admission and are wholesale-only shows–open only to the trade. A valid business license, tax certificate, or sales and use tax permit in a gem or jewelry-related business is required for admission.
The GL&W Minneapolis Fall Show will be held at the Doubletree Bloomington Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota, on September 22-24, 2024, and again in April 2025. Bloomington is merely ten miles south of urban downtown Minneapolis and is famous as the home of the Mall of America. Minneapolis-Saint Paul and the surrounding metropolitan area are collectively known as the Twin Cities, with 3.69 million residents. Thirteen lakes, wetlands, rivers, and waterfalls enhance the scenic landscape tied around urban sophistication.
The GL&W Livonia Fall Show is coming up on October 4-6, 2024, at the beautiful Burton Manor in Livonia, Michigan. It will be held at the same location in April 2025. Burton Manor is famous as a wedding venue, banquet hall, conference and expo center. Over 1,200 registered buyers will be there looking for precious beads and pearls, fine jewelry, gold and silver, minerals, rough lapidary materials and cut gemstones.
Livonia is famous for its massive green family-friendly parks, perfect for outdoor activities. Livonia is also home to the Henry Ford Museum of Innovation. It’s the perfect place to shop for your gem treasures, have a picnic outside at the park, and learn some history at the museums.
The GL&W West Springfield Fall Show will be held at the Eastern States Exposition, Young Building, in West Springfield, Massachusetts, on October 18-19, 2024, ... then again in April 2025. The Eastern States Exposition is heralded as a space that preserves the New England Heritage. You can find countless jewels, beads, pearls, and gems at this show.
The area known as West Springfield was first settled in 1635, as settlers sought higher ground from the east side of the Connecticut River after the Great Colonial Hurricane in late August 1635. West Springfield is part of the Springfield Metropolitan area. The scenic Hampden County Memorial Bridge links West Springfield to the metro center to the east. The 1818 bridge was replaced with a concrete arch bridge in 1922 and rehabilitated in 1996.
The GL&W Orlando Fall Show will be held on October 25-27, 2024, at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida. Over 120 exhibitors will participate, and more than 2,000 registered buyers will shop for their favorite gems and jewelry. If you can’t make the Fall Show, be sure to attend the May 2025 show at the same location.
Osceola Heritage Park is one of Central Florida’s largest entertainment complexes, with events such as concerts, festivals, sports, trade shows and conventions, located only twenty minutes from downtown Orlando, Disney World, Sea World and Universal theme parks.
The GL&W Asheville Fall Show will be the last of the GL&W fall 2024 shows. It will be held on October 29-30, 2024, at the Western North Carolina (WNC) Agricultural Center in Asheville, North Carolina. The WNC Agricultural Center is a premiere event and convention center serving western North Carolina, eastern Tennessee, and upstate South Carolina. If you miss this G&LW show in October, the next show doesn’t come to Asheville until January 2025.
Asheville is in the Blue Ridge Mountains at the confluence of the French Broad and Swannanoa Rivers, the site first recorded as Guaxule by Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto during his 1540 expedition. Asheville is home to several art deco buildings and the famous historic Biltmore Estate, built as a chateau-style mansion for George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895. Asheville is also famous for its performing and visual arts centers, including the Asheville Museum of Art and the Earth Science Museum. Shop for the latest jewelry trends, cut gemstones, beads, and pearls at GL&W Asheville Fall Show, and then take in the mountain vibes and charming art scene the city has to offer.
