Extending beyond collectors, wholesalers, and industry enthusiasts, this family-friendly event is once again free to attend, with ticket reservations available online. Running Friday, September 5, through Sunday, September 14, the show will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily at the National Western Complex, 4655 North Humboldt Street, Denver, Colorado.
“This is truly a one-of-a-kind event in terms of the breadth and diversity of the products available. There really is something for everyone, from kids interested in fossils to serious gem collectors,” said Russell Carhart, show promoter.

Three Exciting Highlights of the 2025 Denver Gem Show
1. DinoRidge Presents: The Kids Zone—A Family-Friendly Experience
The Denver Gem Show at the National Western Complex is the perfect outing for families, offering interactive and educational programming to inspire a love of science and nature. This year’s show will feature a special Kids Zone presented by Dinosaur Ridge, including a dino dig pit where children can excavate fossils, gems, and even toy dinosaurs. Kids can also pan for minerals and gems and create their own treasure chests to store discoveries.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in activities such as metal detecting, geode cracking, and gemstone panning. Little Man Ice Cream will be on-site with a commemorative Gem Show flavor for attendees to enjoy. All festivities will kick off with a special Kids Zone party on Saturday, September 6.
2. Rare Fossils, Gems, and Jewelry from Around the World
Some of the world’s top gemstone and mineral purveyors will showcase rare, specialty, and in some cases, never-before-seen items at the Denver show.
Exhibitor, Wolf2Raven, will unveil a collection of treasures rarely—if ever—seen on the public market. Chief among them is a private stash of museum-grade vanadinite crystals from Mibladen, Morocco, kept hidden for years. The clarity, color saturation, and gem-grade form of these pieces represent some of the finest vanadinite ever discovered.
Also making their debut are natural, unheated Moroccan rubies— deeply colored, ethically sourced, and cut directly from the rough with no treatment or enhancement. These rubies are exceedingly rare and mark an exciting moment for collectors seeking something truly new and extraordinary.
Meanwhile, Amezoni Crystals will showcase their highly lauded trapiche amethyst, a rare star-shaped formation typically seen in emeralds and rubies. Binh of Rocks will present a world-class peridot collection, one of only two crystals formed in the Earth’s mantle.
Specialized fossil dealers will also participate, bringing specimens from Africa, North America (specifically the Green River Formation), and Europe. The exhibit will feature prehistoric fossils, including a Tyrannosaurus rex and a woolly mammoth, along with fish fossils, mammal fossils, and shark teeth.
3. Attractions for Everyone to Experience
The Denver Gem Show at the National Western Complex offers something for everyone—from industry professionals and collectors to hobbyists, couples shopping for engagement rings, and yoga enthusiasts seeking metaphysical gems. Adding to the excitement is an Interactive Rubber Duck Hunt that runs throughout the show. Participants can search for gold- and silver-painted ducks hidden across the venue and redeem them for special prizes.
The 2025 Denver Gem Show at the National Western Complex promises to be an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages. Do not miss the fun, creativity, and community spirit on display September 5–14, 2025!
