Great Mineralogical Fair of Asbestos

The Mineralogy Club of Asbestos presents the third largest Mineral Show in Quebec. It has been held for more than twenty years in Asbestos, on Saturday (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) of the third weekend of August simultaneously with the Festival des Gourmands. You can acquire or admire minerals from around the world, from Quebec and more particularly from the region (Jeffrey mine) as well as jewelry, fossils and souvenirs.

Located in the magnificent region of the Eastern Townships, Asbestos is easily accessible, just 1 hour 45 minutes from major centers such as Montreal or Quebec and barely 40 minutes from Drummondville or Sherbrooke. We are waiting for you in large numbers at the Connie Dion Arena (ACD), in Asbestos (intersection of Route 255 Sud and Boulevard Saint-Luc). Free entrance and air-conditioned room.

For those interested, a free shuttle transports visitors between the main site of the Festival des Gourmands and the Aréna Connie-Dion (ADC), during opening hours and for the duration of the Fair. There is also entertainment for children on site.
