The Puyallup Valley Gem & Mineral Club hosts an annual rock show each year called “Valley of Gems Show” the first weekend of June and there is no admission fee.  Highlights of the show are our indoor and outdoor offerings with everything from beads, finished jewelry items, mineral specimens, rock slabs, rough rock, to unique items made from rock.  We also have demonstrators showing guests some of the lapidary activities that the club offers and an area where kids can dig for fossils, stones, go through a kid’s mine for treasures, and enjoy a spin on the rock wheel of fortune.  Other show activities include multiple silent auctions, raffles, club sales tables, and display cases of beautiful lapidary specimens.  We also have a welcome table with membership and other club and lapidary information.
