From it's humble beginnings over fifty years ago as a small mineral exchange platform for diehard enthusiasts, the Munich Show has become the most important single-venue gem show in the world. The 3-day event offers its over 40,000 visitors trending mineral and jewelry information, recent geological finds, and over 1,200 international vendors from which to purchase endless treasures. This is the largest mineral show in Europe and the third largest in the world, after Tucson and Changsha. Four separate halls host four different worlds: Mineralworld, the biggest part of the show; Gemworld, a highly interesting and rapidly growing European marketplace for precious and semi-precious stones; Fossilworld, where dealers, collectors and scientists meet and trade high-end fossils; and Stoneworld, featuring art and objects made of rare stones.
