World's Top Gem Shows & Showcases

The Quartzsite, Arizona, rock and mineral shows and swapmeets draw thousands of RVers (called "boondockers') to the area every January and February.

Franklin, North Carolina, nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains, is home to gem and mineral showcases (5 shows) in both May and July every year.

The little French Alsatian town of Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines hosts one of the world's finest gem and mineral shows, which draws over 900 vendors each June.

The Munich Show is the world's largest gem and mineral show in a single venue — the Munich Trade Fair Centre — with over 2,000 vendors selling their products in any of the show's four giant exhibit halls: Gemworld, Fossilworld, Mineralworld and Stoneworld.
Setting up in the back of the JG&M Expo on Simpson Street in Tucson. Many dealers pack into the back lot of this well-known show each year selling thousands of tons of rough stone from all over the world. Inside the building are dozens of dealers of fine jewelry and gemstones.
