Christoph Keilmann - 4/27/2025

After the winter months here in Munich, we welcomed spring, the sun, and warmth with great joy. Despite the current global political situation, the seasons are still something you can rely on; in this case, they clearly help brighten the mood.Attendees at the Munich gem show

Spring also marks the start of the gardening season and draws attention to the more urgent tasks: The lawn needs mowing, even if the markets are going crazy — focus on what we can influence and what brings us joy!

For us, spring means the deadline for registration for the Munich Show/ Gemworld and thus the start of stand allocation. With over 900 registrations, including many new exhibitors, the application situation is better than ever at this time of year, which allows us to look ahead to October with confidence. The registration deadline ends on April 30. Click here to register as an exhibitor.

In addition to the planning, the continuous optimization of services for exhibitors and visitors is also on our agenda. Thanks to our experienced partners, further attractive logistics solutions are available in the form of new delivery and shipping options at the trade fair, storage of empties and Pick'n'Drive, underlining the Munich Show's position as the most important autumn platform in Europe for the trade in rough stones, collector minerals, gemstones and jewelry.

Finally, I am very pleased to announce the theme of this year's special show: “Earth's Treasures - The Hidden Wealth of Europe”, a joint exhibition of the Munich Show and the Deutsches Museum, Munich.

Special Exhibition 2025: Earth’s Treasures – The Hidden Wealth of Europe

For thousands of years, the development of human civilizations has been based on the use of natural resources. Europe is characterized by a remarkable variety of geological treasures - from economically important raw materials to aesthetically impressive minerals and stones. This year's joint exhibition is dedicated to the hidden riches of the continent with its special geological and mineralogical wealth. From the tectonically very active zones of southern Europe to the crystalline rocks of the north, from the Iberian Peninsula to the Black Sea.

The diversity of Europe's industrially relevant ores, minerals, and rocks is presented using the most important sites and active mining areas as examples. At the same time, visitors also learn about the uniqueness of our nature, which, for all its diversity, only allows wonderful crystals and collectable minerals to form over millions of years under the most ideal conditions. You can look forward to a varied, informative, and exciting exhibition with specimens from all over Europe.
