Frank Wang’s interest in importing began as the owner of a small retail gift shop in the San Francisco Bay area back in the 1990s and early 2000s. Today, Frank is the company owner of J.K. Stone USA, which operates the J.K. Stone USA showroom in Lakewood, Colorado, and two wholesale warehouses, one in Denver and another in Tucson. In addition to his showroom and warehouses, Frank hosts the J.K. Stone Denver Warehouse Show, an official show of the annual Denver Gem & Mineral Showcase in September, and the J.K. Stone Tucson Warehouse Show, one of the 40+ official shows of the annual Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase in January-February.
Stone Carving Seller to Denver & Tucson Show Promoter
While visiting his hometown of Shenyang, China, Frank purchased a few serpentine and jade carvings crafted by artisans in a nearby village to sell in his gift shop. His appreciation for the carved stone art quickly grew into a thriving business. In 2001, Frank began selling Chinese-crafted carvings and other stone products at the Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase and the Denver Gem & Mineral Showcase. By 2005, Frank had established a successful business importing high-quality mineral specimens, polished products, and metaphysical goods directly from China, Madagascar, Brazil, and Morocco. Frank moved his operations from California to Denver and Tucson in 2014.

Adapting to Customer Needs in the Wholesale Gem & Mineral Market
Despite the pandemic, J.K. Stone USA hosted their first J.K. Stone Denver Warehouse Show during the Denver Gem & Mineral Showcase, in September 2021. As promoter of the J.K. Stone Denver Warehouse Show and J.K. Stone Tucson Warehouse Show, Frank understands his customer’s needs and busy schedules and offers flexible show hours. Originally serving “mom and pop” rock shops, Frank’s customer base has expanded to include gift shops, vendors selling in mineral show circuits, major local and nationwide museums, online sellers, and metaphysical dealers.
The J.K. Stone Denver Warehouse Show opens on the Tuesday following Labor Day and runs for 11 days. The warehouse offers ample parking where customers can shop with ease in a friendly business environment. The J.K. Stone Tucson Warehouse Show is open during the Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase in January-February.
For customer convenience, Frank also offers a nationwide pallet shipping service. Merchandise purchased from other shows at the Denver Gem & Mineral Showcase or Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase can be combined and shipped with their purchases from the J.K. Stone Denver Warehouse Show or J.K. Stone Tucson Warehouse Show, respectively. Costs charged by the freight company are passed through to the customer with no additional mark-up.
