For eleven days in September, Denver, Colorado, hosts 11 separate shows featuring 900 vendors and exhibitors displaying and selling rocks, minerals rough or handsomely prepped, sleek gemmy treasures, crystals crying out to heal all that ails ya, zillion-year-old fossils, and brazen beads. They're all here in every color on a peacock's plumy train!
A couple of the largest and most internationally important gem, mineral, and fossil events are held at the National Western Complex and the Crowne Plaza Hotel. NWC is the venue for The Denver Show, the Denver Expo Gem Show, and Miner's Co-op. The Colorado Mineral & Fossil Show at Crowne Plaza is a don't-miss event, with plenty of fossils and mineral dealers from around the world.
The HardRock Summit is back at the Colorado Convention Center, along with partner show: AGTA GemFair™.
Be sure to visit the Colorado Independent Warehouse Show on the west side of town for rock-bottom prices on rocks, as well as a new warehouse show called the JK Stone Bulk Warehouse Show.
The JG&M Expo has moved from its long-held venue at the Clarion Hotel at 48th & Bannock. This year they are temporarily partnering with CMFS at Crowne Plaza until they can find a permanent venue next year. And if you're looking for some of the finest mineral and crystal specimens (at rock bottom prices!) at the Showcase visit the Just Minerals & Crystals Event.
There's so much to see at the Second Largest Gem & Mineral Showcase in the World. If Tucson is the Grandaddy of them all, Denver is Grandad's number one son, and he's all grown up, matured, and gotten finer with age!
