Nature's Treasures of Texas

Founded by Karen Richards in 2000, Nature’s Treasures in Austin, Texas, grew from a personal hobby into a thriving business. Spread initially across three small stores within sister company TOPS (Texas Office Product Supplies), the business consolidated in 2012 into a 14,000-square-foot space at 4103 North IH-35.

The store boasts a 7,000-square-foot retail showroom filled with an extensive selection of crystals, minerals, fossils, gemstones, jewelry, metaphysical tools, books, and unique gifts. The Rock Yard and Rock Depot provide bulk and rough rock, boulders, lapidary equipment, and stone-cutting services for collectors and artisans alike.

Beyond retail, Nature’s Treasures offers a 3,000-square-foot Community Event Center for workshops, classes, and metaphysical gatherings, as well as a Practitioner’s Room for massage therapists, readers, and holistic professionals. The store hosts daily practitioners to enhance its holistic and spiritual environment.

In 2020, Nature’s Treasures celebrated 20 years in business, marking the fulfillment of a vision Karen and her mother envisioned in 1987—a space that blends a love of rocks with metaphysical energy. Over the past two decades, the store has grown into a beloved destination, thanks to its dedicated community and passionate employees.

With a commitment to providing a unique and welcoming space for learning, exploration, and connection, Nature’s Treasures looks forward to serving the community for many more years to come.
